Open sound from the throat.
Say "Alif" three times together. Then look around the room. Can your child spot something starting with that sound? Praise every attempt. Finish with the practice word "أَسَد" said clearly.
Many kids rush past "Alif". Slow it down. Hold the sound for one full second, then move on. Mistakes are progress in disguise.
Spot "ا" on cereal boxes, in dua books, in shop signs. Celebrating the letter out in the wild is what turns recognition into recall.
